Wards 9 and 23
Kinetic were appointed to undertake the detailed mechanical and electrical design for the refurbishment of Wards 9 and 23 at the Bradford Royal Infirmary.
The wards were turnkey projects, but all surrounding wards had to remain occupied whilst the works were carried out. In the case of Ward 23, part of the refurbishment had to be carried out in phases as service users were still present on the ward.
All heating, ventilation , public health, lighting, power, nurse call and medical gases were replaced to provide state of the art healthcare facilities to meet current HTM and HBN standards.
