Kinetic Engineers (Gateshead) win new appointment for Scientific Laboratory project

Northumbrian Water via Summers Inman have appointed Kinetic Engineers (Gateshead) to design the Mechanical, Electrical, Public Health and Gas distribution network for the Scientific Services Laboratory refurbishment at Howdon, North Tyneside. The project comprises the major overhaul of the existing system installations serving water treatment laboratories areas including replacement of all air handling units and the refurbishment of the air distribution system, replacement of the comfort cooling systems within the high spec South Laboratory, upgrade works to the existing BMS and HVAC controls installations, modifications to the water and gas distribution networks, replacement of the existing electrical transformer and main switchboard and provision of high density, flexible power and data installations to laboratory and clerical areas.

The project is the latest in a string of Projects which Kinetic are pleased to be working on with Summers Inman.
